Playgroup Queensland supports Queensland families through a range of early year’s programs. These programs are designed to promote early year’s development, build community capacity, and create pathways and opportunities for vulnerable families so that all Queensland children can enjoy the many benefits that a quality play experience offers. International research and a growing evidence base within Australia acknowledges the importance of the first five years of life, the role of parents or care givers in these early years, and the benefits (community capacity building) evident from an investment in early years and early intervention projects.
