Becoming a member of Playgroup Queensland gives you access to wonderful benefits and peace of mind in knowing that your choice of Playgroup is affiliated with a state wide organisation.
Types of Membership
Family Membership
Community Playgroups are for parents and caregivers with children aged birth to school age. At Playgroup, parents spend relaxed time with their children making friends and support networks. Meanwhile children develop physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually, as they discover new experiences, gain self confidence and make new friends too.
Family Membership is $35 per family/year, $25 concession.

Organisational Membership
Community Groups and not-for-profit organisations such as Neighbourhood Centres, Churches, Family Day Care Schemes and family support agencies that manage Playgroups are very welcome to join Playgroup Queensland as Organisational Members.
Organisational Membership is $100 per fiscal year.

Professional Membership
Professional membership is available to professionals such as doctors, academics, organisations or individuals with an interest in early childhood and/or Playgroups.
Professional Membership is $35 per year.

Toy Libraries
Playgroup Queensland Toy Libraries offer a wide range of toys and equipment for use in playgroup sessions and at home. The toys complement playgroup activities and can be used with the Let’s All Play Together! Activity Cards.
The Toy Library Network is just one of the member benefits available to affiliated Playgroups and current Playgroup Queensland Family Members. Playgroup Queensland Toy Libraries are run with the assistance of a dedicated network of Toy Library Volunteers who are friendly, passionate and hard working.
If you are interested in borrowing from one of the many Toy Libraries, please take along your current Playgroup Queensland membership card and a second form of identification such as a Drivers License, Health Care Card or similar. If Playgroups who wish to borrow, the contact person or nominated person should take along the Playgroup’s Toy Library Borrowing Card in addition to their current Playgroup Queensland Membership Card and identification.
