Wooloowin Japanese Playgroup Celebrates Setsubun

Wooloowin Japanese Playgroup hosted a special morning tea on Friday 3 February to celebrate Setsubun. Deputy Prime Minister Wayne Swan and CEO of Playgroup Queensland Jennifer Mobbs attended the morning tea and learnt about the Setsubun celebrations.

Wayne Swan announced as Honorary Ambassador for Playgroup Queensland

Deputy Prime Minister Wayne Swan has been announced as Playgroup Queensland’s first honorary ambassador. Mr Swan has been a longtime supporter of Playgroup Queensland, with his involvement becoming greater after the devastating 2011 floods.

Toy Library Strategy

Playgroup Queensland is currently reviewing the Playgroup Toy Library Network. The aim of this review is to consolidate resources to provide a better service to all Playgroup members across Queensland. We are working on a new service model that is suitable for metropolitan and regional communities, and we hope to implement this new model later in 2012.

Incident Reporting

It is vital that you keep accurate records of injuries or accidents at Playgroup involving children and adults (including visitors).  To assist you with this process an ‘Incident Record Form’ is available as part of the Playgroup forms pack.
