Kids get slimed at playgroup celebration

National Playgroup Week’s signature event moves to Ipswich

The sound of kids laughing, water splashing and slime squishing will ring out at Queen’s Park in Ipswich on Tuesday, 28 March as part of Playgroup Queensland’s National Playgroup Week celebrations.

Held every year in March, National Playgroup Week is a celebration of everything “playgroup”. It gives families the chance to get a taste of what to expect when they attend a playgroup.

This year’s theme is “Messy Play” and we intend to live up to the name. Make sure you bring a change of clothes because there will be:

·         Shaving Cream Play

·         Water Play

·         Goop Play

·         Dinosaur Dig

·         Bubble Wrap Painting

·         Messy Music Time

·         Painting with Objects

Other community service organisations will attend the event and there will be goodie bags available along with information on Playgroup Queensland’s many programs and services.

Bring the family to this year’s National Playgroup Week signature event and get MESSY!
