National Playgroup Week kicks off in the Redlands
National Playgroup Week is a chance for families to experience a taste of playgroup and the many activities you can enjoy when you become a member of the national organisation.
This year, the Redlands’ event will be held on Monday, 27 March from 9.30-11.30am at Capalaba Regional Park, Pittwin Road North.
The theme is 'Messy Play', which means you will need to bring a change of clothes if you want to enjoy the many activities on offer – activities that include:
· Spray Bottle Painting
· Pavement Art
· Spaghetti Messy Play
· Play Dough Modelling
· Mud Play and Obstacle Course
· Sand Play
· Goop Play
· Bubble Play.
There will also be the family favourite Barnyard Babies sponsored by Bendigo Bank, craft with Officeworks and Bunnings, and Little Kickers plus several activities suited for babies as well as sensory experiences for both you and your child.
Other community-based organisations will attend the event and there will be goodie bags available along with information on Playgroup Queensland’s many programs and services delivered in the Redland-Bayside region.
So, slap on some sun screen and a hat, and come along to enjoy a fun (and messy) day out with the kids.
